About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Head of Kitchen to join our warm and welcoming village primary school in Beeston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working in a friendly, community-focused environment.
As the Head of Kitchen, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the school kitchen. This is a lone-working role, ideal for someone who is confident, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality meals to our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in line with established recipes and nutritional standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with menu planning.
• Support compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive dining experience for pupils and staff.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred.
• A genuine passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (training can be provided).
• Friendly, reliable, and committed to supporting the school community.
