Food Service Assistant - Primary School (NG2 7DD)
Part-Time | £12.21 per hour | 13.45 hours per week

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 10:45am - 13:15pm (Term Time Only)

About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Food Service Assistant to join our catering team at Jesse Gray Primary School. You'll play a key role in helping prepare, serve, and clean up after school meals, ensuring a safe and welcoming dining experience for pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef Manager/School Chef with food preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Support the cleaning and setup of the dining area, including moving furniture as needed.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Help with other catering needs within the school as required.

Requirements:

• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety procedures.
• Flexibility to support other school catering units if needed.
• Enhanced DBS check required (can be arranged if not already held).
