Job description

Opus people solutions on behalf of Suffolk County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Manager to join their Youth Justice Team

You will need to be a creative and resilient individual who is committed to making a positive difference to Suffolk's young people. You will need to have a thorough understanding of criminal exploitation, understand how to deliver projects and have management experience in either a criminal justice, social care, education or health setting.

Responsibilities

  • Representing the service and the work of your team at a variety of partnership meetings/events.
  • Developing new initiatives to support children and caregivers who are experiencing exploitation.
  • Working closely with partners to identify opportunities to disrupt criminal exploitation.
  • Managing an outreach team that will work flexibly to reduce the risks of criminal exploitation in hot spot locations.
  • Monitor the delivery of service.
  • Timely provision of key data to the Head of Service and key partners.
  • Some weekend and evening work will be required regularly.
