Contract Monitoring Officer

Pay: £19.81

Location: Hybrid - Expectations to visit provider services so must have access to own transport. Work from office and attend meeting as main office in One Angel Square Northampton when needed - Hybrid will be considered once confident and competent in role

Length of assignment: 2 Months

Standard DBS required

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council for a Contract Monitoring Officer.

Do you have experience in provider services, Similar experience in CQC registration, NICE guidelines and skills for care?

The Candidate is required to provide a comprehensive monitoring and contract management service that focuses upon the quality of support and care within the Council commissioned services for vulnerable adults (both younger adults and older people), carers and communities; to ensure best practice, the safeguarding of individuals and maintain individual health and wellbeing.

  • Attending different services.
  • To ensure contract compliance, raise quality and standards within commissioned services in accordance with specified contract requirements, service outcomes, national standards and legal requirements.
  • Completing contract monitoring of provider services against their contract.
  • A monitoring tool is used but a report will be written following visits.
  • Providers can be supported living, residential, nursing, domiciliary but if individual has specific knowledge in one area, they can be allocated these only.

Investigate enquiries that arise for allocated providers and liaise with other professionals to ensure safety of customers. Will be required
