Opus People Solutions on behalf of Walsall Council have an exciting opportunity for and Mental Health Senior Practitioner for Adults to join there Team.

This role will be hybrid and will be 37 hours a week over 7 days.

We are seeking an AMHP / Senior Practitioner to join our current AMHP Hub within Walsall. The hub operates a 24 hour service across the week, 365 days per year. You will work on a rota system which is supported by other AMHP who are based within the locality and mental health teams.

This job role will be:

You will need to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge and understanding the Mental Health Act, The Mental Capacity Act, The Children Act and The Care Act. You will be expected to undertake Mental health Act Assessments and planned work such as CTO's.

You will be expected to contribute towards the ongoing learning and development of staff and students across Adult Social Care.

You will be able to demonstrate current AMHP status and be prepared to become authorised to act on behalf of Walsall Adult Social Care.
