Strategic Stakeholder Manager Net Zero
Homebased with travel for team meetings (London - Once per month) and to meet clients/stakeholders.
Salary: £52,580 -£58,064 per annum
Job Type: Full time 37 Hours per week 31st March 2025 Fixed Term Contract

The Greater South East Net Zero Hub at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Strategic Stakeholder Manager to join the team.
What is the role?
As Strategic Stakeholder Manager for the Greater South East Net Zero Hub (GSNZH) you will support the Net Zero Hub to champion the objectives and outcomes of the programme through the development and delivery of a Hub Engagement Plan, which will include regular engagement with the Department of Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) as well as wider communications with Ministers and senior civil servants at both national and local level.
As a key member of GSNZH, you will be responsible for taking a proactive approach to raising awareness of the Hub by increasing its visibility with stakeholders, partners and business leaders, and by creating a better understand of its activities.
Duties will include:
Curate and maintain database of net zero activity, networks, partnerships and stakeholders
Curate a portfolio of case studies, site visits etc to showcase activity
Proactive stakeholder engagement, advise and guidance to support GSENZH objectives, national and regional policy, business development opportunities
Communications - effectively manage messaging around Hub delivery and activity, leverage funding from key strategic stakeholders
Contribute to the development of reports to the SMT, Board and funders as required, as well as ensuring communications are appropriate to support the delivery and development of projects.
What will you need?
Educated to degree level or equivalent level, or possess the equivalent level of knowledge gained through demonstratable industry/sector experience
Experience of working with a range of stakeholders across the public and private sectors and of developing effective partnerships
Experience of advocacy with the knowledge and understanding of how to present a compelling case to stakeholders
Good knowledge of net zero policy at a national and/or regional level
Have experience of successfully delivering public/member meetings/events
