Business Support Officer
Rate of Pay: £13.05 per hour PAYE.
Location: Vantage House, Vantage Park, 9 Washingley Rd, Huntingdon PE29 6SR and Lawrence Court Princes Street Huntingdon PE29 3PA
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Duration: Temporary basis, 3 months.

Opus People Solutions are recruiting for 2 Administrators on a temporary basis, on behalf of our Client, Cambridge County Council.
Responsibilities:
Court Support Responsibilities:
- Courtroom Preparation & Attendance: Set up rooms for hearings, greet attendees, and clear rooms post-hearing.
- Court Proceedings Assistance: Attend hearings, call parties in order, swear in witnesses, and liaise with support services.
- Communication & Coordination: Arrange and send Teams invites for remote hearings; keep parties informed of changes.
- Sensitive Material Handling: Play videos in court as directed by the officer of coroner. Save documents
- Public Interaction: Receive and guide court users including judiciary, police, families, and legal representatives.
Office Support Responsibilities:
- Inbox & Communication Management: Monitor general inbox, allocate emails to cases, and respond to various communications.
- Information & Records Management: Maintain accurate filing systems, archive records, and manage case file updates.
- Referral Processing: Handle Coroner and Medical Examiner referrals per protocols.
- Administrative Support: Perform clerical tasks, manage supplies, and generate reports/documents.
- Pathology & Toxicology Coordination: Track post-mortem and toxicology reports, liaise with hospitals, and monitor performance.
Essential Requirements:
- Commute to both locations.
- Previous experience in Legal administration background is beneficial not essential.
- Previous experience within Customer Service facing roles is essential.
- Previous experience in Administration is essential.
- Commitment to work onsite at both locations.
- This role will involve tasks that involve both supporting bereaved families and handling sensitive material, including photographs of deceased individuals. This role requires empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.
