Hours: Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day between 5:30am and 8:00am (Term Time Only)
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 10 hours

Two Cleaners are required to support the early morning cleaning service at a school in Newark. This role helps ensure the school is clean, safe and ready for pupils and staff each day.

Each Cleaner will be allocated a specific timed area to clean independently, so a good level of self-motivation is essential. While there is a small team on site, this role requires working alone within your designated space.

In addition to term time cleaning, there will be four weeks of holiday deep cleaning allocated by the school at the start of the year. These will also take place between 5:30am and 8:00am, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general cleaning duties including classrooms, corridors and toilets
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard
• Follow health and safety and COSHH procedures
• Report any issues or hazards to the site team
• Work independently and manage time effectively
