Job description

Our client is a leading company located within Ipswich who are seeking a Business Analyst to join their professional team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying solutions to business problems, and facilitating the implementation of those solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into detailed requirements for system enhancements and business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance business performance.
  • Create detailed business requirement documents and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and finance to implement solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and document business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, resource allocations, and risk management.
  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders during the implementation phase.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
