We spoke to Colin Foster, the Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Children's Trust to learn more about what led him into his current role. Colin’s journey began in the kitchen, where he began a promising career as a chef. However, he eventually felt a strong desire to make a more meaningful impact on the lives of children and families and couldn’t miss the opportunity to take the leap and try something new.
This led Colin to transition into social work, where he now dedicates his efforts to improving children’s services. In our video, Colin shares what inspired him to make this significant change and why it was the best decision for his career.
