Title: Test Manager

Rate: £600 per day

Location: Remote - one day per month or when required during critical phases of the project

Type: Temporary - 12 to 18 months

Hours: 40 hours per week

Opus People Solutions are working with Cambridgeshire County Council to recruit for a Test Manager to support a new upcoming Project. The post holder will work with the implementation team for 2 Line of Business systems which are being delivered in a tight timescales. A significant number of services will be involved in the testing and data migration and the post holder will be required to manage priorities to ensure delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop a test plan and a suitable set of test scenarios for the implementation against the project acceptance criteria defined in the contract.
• Test Liquidlogic from all the relevant locations post the initial install to ascertain that the network is suitable to support the implementation.
• Ensure the relevant test scenarios are run to ensure all data migration and application functionality is fully tested. This involves testing new cases and more importantly existing cases to ensure that 'Business as Usual' activities can be progressed at go live.
• Ensure issues are raised on the call logging system by the relevant deadline following data migration and application testing so that required fix work can be scheduled.
