Opus People Solutions on behalf of Peterborough Council have an exciting oppurunity for a Social Worker to join thier Mental Health Team.

This role will be for 30 hours a week over 4 days. It will be hybrid with Acess to various offices within Peterborough and cambridgeshire and some visit will be for our service users based in Norfolk.

As a mental Health Social Worker you will have experience of working within the Adult Mental Health field and either have undertaken Social Supervisor training or be willing to do so as the job will entail some aspects of Forensic Social Work. The successful candidate will be supported by the Senior Leadership Team and an ability to work autonomously will be ideal.

This role will include:

• To carry a workload, commensurate with qualification, experience and competency. Workload will be least complex and supervised by the manager

• To work under guidance within the legislative and procedural framework of Peterborough City Council.

​

• To work under guidance collaboratively with service users , their families and formal/informal carers to assess their needs and plan and deliver services commensurate with the service area. [Community Team, Learning Disability and Autism Team, Transitions Team, Transfer of Care Team, Intermediate Care Team]
