Opus People solutions on behalf of Cambridge County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social worker to join their Learning Disability Partnership Team.

This role will be hybrid with a minimum of 40% in the office based at Scott House, 5 George St, Huntingdon, PE29 3BA and Sunley Centre, Papworth Everard, Papworth. Must be in on a Wednesday. Other days are flexible. May need to be in more initially to learn the role in the team.

The focus of this work will be support LDP to reduce the time people are waiting on a priority list.

Whilst the work will be managed according to longest wait there will be a need to be flexible to the needs of the service.

SSW in the Multidisciplinary Learning Disability Partnership, will be required to supervise at least 2 social workers, complete Care Act assessments with appropriate care and support plans to meet assessed need.

Will also need to complete MCA assessments as required.
