Property Support Officer
Pay: £15.06 per hour, 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri
Location: Corby NN17 4SW, Office based only.
Length: until end of December (potential for extension)
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for a Property Support Officer to join their Property Services department to provide support with a range of administrative and financial support tasks.
Principal responsibilities
- Providing admin support to the teams within property services
- Collating of the monthly overtime and expenses claims for Operatives.
- Accurate raising and processing of requisitions
- Processing of external invoices as well as checking and clearing for payment within targets set
- Assisting in the collation of figures for performance monitoring for the team
- Processing of post coming in and out of property services
- Assisting with scheduling of works orders for property services
- Filing of all records accurately in line with GDPR timeframes
- Facilitating in meetings when required
- Providing effective customer liaison and resolving issues when required
- Recording, handling, and monitoring of complaints received by the Property Services Team
- Contributing to the overall performance improvements of property services, including improvements to the Housing Repairs System
- Providing cover when required to the Housing Property Services Stores team
We are looking for a clear communicator with a proactive, customer focused attitude, with experience of working in an office environment, ideally within Housing/Property Services and carrying out a range of administrative tasks, effectively managing and prioritising own workload.
The perfect candidate will:
- Be a quick learner with strong organisational skills
- Collaborate well with others and be flexible in their approach to meet the demands of the post and team, working flexibly where necessary
- Be able to deal with confidential and sensitive information
- Be proficient in Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Understand and be able to comply with the Council's policies and procedures
