Responsibilities:

• Strategic Insight: Conduct monitoring functions and deliver insightful analytical reports, crucial for guiding our planning service, including monitoring the Local Plan.
• Policy Expertise: Provide high-quality advice on intricate planning policy issues, ensuring informed decision-making processes.
• Research Excellence: Undertake in-depth research related to planning policy, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
• Documentation Support: Assist in the preparation of local development plan policy documents and other materials, shaping the future landscape of our community.
• Consultant Management: Lead and manage consultants working on local plan evidence, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Safety Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to Health and Safety legislation, ensuring a secure work environment for all stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Knowledgeable: Demonstrable understanding of UK town planning procedures, providing a solid foundation for effective decision-making.
• Experienced: Proven experience in planning policy work, showcasing your ability to navigate complex challenges.
• Deadline-Oriented: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing conflicting demands and deadlines with ease.

• Professional Accreditation: Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute, reflecting your commitment to professional excellence.
