On behalf of Babergh District Council and Mid Suffolk District Council, Opus People Solutions LTD are sourcing for a Senior Housing Supply and Condition Officer required to start ASAP on an ongoing temporary basis.

The successful candidate for the role will have previous experience within the Housing Sector and along with a "Housing Health and Safety Rating System" (HHSRS) qualification to be able to assist with carrying out property inspections.

As a Senior Housing Supply and Condition Officer you will be responsible for:

• Making appointments to inspect homes

• Visiting the properties of homes that are required to be inspected

• Check the properties for any hazards (not a full HHSRS inspection, but follows the principles of such inspections)

• Complete an ID checks

• Decide on a pass / fails for the properties

• Record details of the inspection on a case management system

Additional Info

The post holder will be expected to travel to different properties within a given radius

Visits can take between take 30 - 45 mins plus travel time.
