Monday-Friday - Day - £10.50
Saturday - Day - £11.80
Monday-Saturday - Night - £12.66
Sunday - Day - 14.28
Sunday - Night - £17.42
Bank Holiday - Day - £21.00
Bank Holiday - Night - £22.18
Opus, on behalf of Northamptonshire County, is looking to recruit temporary support workers/ care assistants. Working through Opus, you will offer support to local care homes.
There are many shifts available: early, late, waking nights and day shifts.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, enthusiastic, kind and someone who loves working with the elderly. I am looking for someone who can go into a residential care home with a smile on their face and light up the room for the residents who live there, someone who is passionate about assisting the elderly to go about their day.
Key Objectives:
- To provide a personal care and support service, delivered in accordance with the agreed care plan and the appropriate policies and procedures.
- Ensure clear, concise and accurate records are kept of all care and support provided.
- Ensure changes in needs are reflected in care plans where required, and reviewed regularly by assisting Manager, Team Leaders & Night Seniors with recording of information.
- Always being aware of health and safety and following the risk assessment to ensure tenants and carers safety and report any concerns to manager, team leaders and night seniors.
- Other duties to be undertaken include may include tasks such as simple cleaning tasks, making meals, assisting residents to eat.
- To focus on the dignity & respect of service users and in partnership with other agencies to provide an excellent person centred, individualised service.
- To liaise with seniors/managers regarding any concerns you may have regarding the residents.
- Work within a team environment providing excellent care and support.
