Job description

Opus People Solutions are seeking an Office Manager to join a sustainable and innovative business in Ipswich.

As one of the first points of contact within the company for visitors and phone enquiries, you will provide timely, efficient, professional, friendly, and proactive assistance aligned with the company's vision, mission and values.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure administrative processes and operational tasks are performed accurately and in accordance with company ethos and professional guidelines complying at all times with Company reporting and other policies.

  • Line Management of an Office Assistant

  • Oversee service contracts with office landlords and all office maintenance and service contracts in line with budget and progress to meet the Company's sustainability objectives and Net Zero goals.

  • Lead and support the development and implementation of new administrative systems within the company, encouraging beneficial change and supporting the Company's reputation for innovation and professionalism.

  • Collaborate closely with all office department managers, Executive Assistants and Office Assistant to operate best practice and formulate procedures and initiatives to achieve maximum efficiency of the office team supporting all field-based colleagues, customers and clients.

  • Ensure all Data Protection / GDPR, environmental, Health & Safety and other Company policies and practices are strictly adhered to, operating within the law at all times to protect the Company from risk.
