Mobile Head of Kitchen
Location: Mansfield / Worksop Area
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 1:30pm (Term Time Only)
Salary: £13.77 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 25 hours
Setting: Working within a school environment across multiple sites
Additional Benefits: Mileage paid for travel between sites

We are seeking a Mobile Head of Kitchen to lead and deliver high-quality catering services across multiple school sites in the Mansfield and Worksop area. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and the flexibility to travel between locations. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between assigned schools.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to pupils
* Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth operation of catering services
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in all kitchens
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and allergen procedures
* Monitor stock levels, place orders and manage deliveries across sites
* Liaise with school staff to ensure meal services meet pupil needs
* Travel between school sites as required, with mileage paid

* Proven experience in a catering or kitchen management role, ideally within a school setting
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites effectively
* Reliable and flexible, with access to transport for travel between locations
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen regulations
* Friendly and approachable with a commitment to excellent service
* Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
