Role Overview:

You will join their dynamic and busy Cashiering Team, where adherence to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules is essential. They provide comprehensive training on their accounting system. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing daily bank reconciliations for both office and client accounts
  • Processing BACS and CHAPS payments
  • Managing daily client completions
  • Handling payments received into client accounts
  • Preparing and processing cheques, including bank deposits
  • Conducting client-to-office transfers
  • Posting client invoices and debit/credit card payments
  • Archiving files
  • Addressing general financial inquiries

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior legal cashiering experience and familiarity with solicitors' accounts rules preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and general IT skills
  • Strong academic background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Highly organized
  • Friendly and caring attitude
