Opus People Solutions are seeking a Finance Project Lead in Ipswich to support with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
This is a fixed term contract role of 12 months. However, that is likely to be extended beyond due to the scale of the project, hence the additional resource.
You'll be working on a hybrid basis with the office located in central Ipswich.
We are seeking candidates that are qualified by exam or experience that are proven in all aspects of transactional, technical and operational accounting. Of course, you'll have plenty of experience using D365 too!
As the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Project Lead, you will:
Partner with the business analyst as part of the documentation and understanding of how the business and system processes currently work.
Understand and participate in the documentation of requirements for the system.
Work with the project team on the delivery of the requirements in accordance with the approved design and functional specifications.
Play an active role in all aspects of Data migration in accordance with the approved project plan(s).
Lead the Finance workstream on all testing cycles, including but not limited to (functional, SIT, UAT and regression testing).
Actively lead in all user training as part of the go-live criteria planning, including any reporting requirements.
Actively lead in the end-to-end Finance Hypercare process, including supporting the Finance team(s) during the transition from legacy systems and processes.
