Energy Efficiency Project ManagerNet Zero
Homebased with travel for team meetings (London - Once per month) and to meet clients/stakeholders.
Salary: £46,500-£50,600 per annum
Job Type: Full time 37 Hours per week 31st March 2025 Fixed Term Contract - extension subject to future funding

The Greater South East Net Zero Hub at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Energy Efficiency Project Manager to join the team.

What is the role?
There are three Energy Efficiency Project managers supporting local authority delivery of domestic retrofit and decarbonisation of heat.

  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills with responsibility for consortia of local authorities - developing, delivering, and monitoring domestic retrofit projects.

  • Coordinating activities to support local authorities to build capacity and capability to support the delivery of energy efficiency retrofit and decarbonisation of heat, at scale.

  • Undertake regional activities that are adapted at a local level, this is to increase the efficiency of delivery.

  • Managing consortia governance, monitoring & performance data and risk management. Small grant management.

What will you need?

  • Extensive Project Management experience

  • Experience of working in energy efficiency, heat decarbonisation or fuel poverty projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience of developing and writing compelling business cases.

  • Knowledge of the energy efficiency retrofit standards.

  • Experience of working with senior management and a range of stakeholders
