Eligibility and Travel Options Co-ordinator
Location: Shropshire Council, S13 9DS
Hourly pay: £17.29 per hour
Hours: Rotational shifts generally Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (mostly remote with office presence twice a week)
INITIALLY MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL TIME IN THE OFFICE FOR TRAINING
Length of assignment: Until the end of July/August, with possible extension
Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Eligibility and Travel Options Co-ordinator to join Shropshire Council Team. In this role, you will assist policy managers in assessing applications for school transport eligibility. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring that families receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with policy managers to review and process school transport applications
- Determine eligibility based on established guidelines
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather necessary information
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using digital tools for remote work
Additional Information:
- You will be required to work in the office twice a week, with free parking available.
- Please note that there are no canteen facilities on-site, and you will need to bring your own lunch.
