Pay: £12.80

Length: Temp to Perm

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday

Location: Flexible working - Office based and home base

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire council for customer service advisor to provide an excellent and efficient, high-quality front-line service to the council's customers and residents.

The overall purpose of the Customer Service Centre is to maximise resolution of enquiries and information requests from customers at first point of contact. With the objectives of seeking to resolve as many queries as possible (up to 80%) at the first point of contact · maximising customer satisfaction · minimising the need for repeat calls from customers chasing resolution/action.

Main duties.

  • To promote, facilitate and assist in the development and implementation of a customer focused environment and an outward approach to service delivery.
  • To effectively listen and question, to accurately establish customer needs and then offer the appropriate information, guidance, or service. Where possible this should be based around completing the service at first point of contact.
  • Record service and information requests in a CRM or other appropriate system.
  • To monitor and update outstanding enquiries as appropriate, across the full range of services provided by Customer Services.
  • Provide a wide range of quality information and advice to our customers, residents, councillors, and external organisations.
