We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Commercial Analyst to join an award winning business within Ipswich. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to analyse data and provide insights that drive business decisions. This role requires proficiency in various analytical tools and methodologies, as well as the capability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial strategies, pricing and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, sales data, and customer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.
- Maximise revenue and contribution pricing through proactive commercial analysis and tactical decision making to facilitate achievement of strategic objectives.
- Maintain close communication and build good working relationships with EU regional colleagues, so as to ensure awareness of pricing policy and commercial strategies
- Ensure all pricing enquiries are attended to promptly, efficiently and appropriately as a focal point.
- Ensure that all rate agreements and contract extensions/amendments are properly captured in the IRIS modules.
- Work closely with EU regional sales teams to review and adjust guideline rates on a periodic basis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Continuously monitor industry developments to vaticinate potential impacts on the business.
Experience
- Proven experience in a commercial analysis or similar role, with a strong emphasis on data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
