We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Pakefield High School, Lowestoft.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in an educational setting to ensure a suitable working environment for students. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction. This role is suitable for anyone wanting part time (term time hours)Main responsibilities include:

• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards.
• Manage/remove waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.
• Communicate with clients and team members to address specific cleaning needs or concerns.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Clean classrooms, corridors and communal areas including kitchen's & toilets

What We're Looking For:

• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
• Ensure hygiene standards are maintained
• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
