The Role:

We have an amazing opportunity for a Chef to join us at the busy Bedgebury Pinetum & National Forest Cafe. Working as part of an enthusiastic team who run the café, alongside the Chef. The main duties to include:

• Daily you will organise and control the busy catering operation ensuring a successful and efficient service is provided.
• You will prepare, and present food to the highest quality.
• You will work with the manager on ordering of stock.
• Serve hot and cold food to the visiting customers
• Identifying customer requirements with allergies
• Ensure all legislation and procedures are adhered to.
• Light kitchen duties, washing dishes and cleaning

What exactly are we looking for?

• 3 + years experience in a busy kitchen environment required.
• An enthusiastic and friendly individual who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Excellent people skills with the team and customers
• A willingness to learn new skills.
• A passion for catering in a busy environment.
• 5 out of 7 days to include weekends and bank holidays.
