Title: Project Manager/ Business Analyst

Rate: £400 - £450 per day- umbrella

Opus people solutions are working with Peterborough City Council to recruit for a Project Manager/ Business Analyst to join their Children's Services team on an interim 12 week rolling contract. Your contribution will be vital to improving and transforming services for Children and Families living in Peterborough.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience, preferably as part of a Children's Services improvement team. You'll need to be adept in project management, data management, and business analysis techniques, including data analysis, process redesign, and options appraisals.

Exceptional communication skills are essential, and you need to be able to convey complex message in a clear and persuasive manner.

Experience of working on service improvement projects with a diverse range of front-line practitioners in health, education, social care, alongside children and families, is crucial.

The role will be hybrid working, with an average of 2-3 days on site per week. We are looking for immediate availability for this role, starting in early April.

Main Responsibilities:

• Scope and analyse opportunities to make cost savings.
• Lead and work with others on transformation projects at pace.
• Experience in local authority and children services - be able to see where improvements can be made.
• Write coherent reports.
• Present information in an engaging and competent way
• Interpreting data
