Job Title: Building Surveyor
Location: Crossgates House, Redditch Borough Council
Work Mode: On-site
Pay Rate: Negotiable
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Assignment Duration: 3-6 months temporary

Job Description:
Redditch Borough Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Crossgates House on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and integrity of our buildings through the effective delivery of the Fire Risk Assessment Action Plan and associated works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fire Risk Assessment: Take full responsibility for the delivery of the Fire Risk Assessment Action Plan, ensuring all associated works are completed to the highest standards.
• Building Surveying Duties: Assist the Capital Programmes Team with a variety of building surveying tasks, including:
• Disrepairs
• Structural Repairs
• Void Refurbishments
• Planned Programmes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building surveying, particularly in relation to fire risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of building safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
