Assistant Depot Manager
Ipswich and Rougham
37.5 hours per week
Opus part of the Vertas Group Limited,
All relevant training provided, where necessary, subject to a Training Bond being signed

Main Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for an Assistant Depot Manager to help with our operational Suffolk County Council contracts, ensuring smooth operation and maintaining accurate legal compliance. This role may incorporate split day workings to cover operational needs, you will be reporting into the Depot Manager.
You will be in a position where your judgement will be paramount looking after our specialised team. Firstly, to deal with our day-to-day operations, and then, determining new avenues of growth to progress our needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring legal compliance with Operators and Taxi License held by Vertas.
- Assisting with the Management of Priory Taxi and Educational Transport Operations.
- Line Management and coaching of Drivers and Passenger Assistants
- Support the Depot Manager with implementing department or group wide initiatives, procedures and processes
- Health and Safety of all colleagues, vehicles, public and site at Bury St Edmunds Depot
- To deputise for the Depot Manager - Rougham during absence.
