Join Milton Keynes City Council's Virtual Social Work Careers Open Evening to See Why It's a Great Place to Develop Your Social Work Career!
Find out what it's like to begin your social work journey at Milton Keynes City Council by joining our virtual careers open evening, including a fantastic CPD training session on contextual safeguarding!
The virtual event, hosted through Microsoft Teams, will provide you with an excellent insight into what its like to work at Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) and the benefits and opportunities available for social workers. We'll be sharing our ambitions for the future of social work in Milton Keynes and the role you could play in this.
At Milton Keynes City Council staff are supported to develop their full potential. Throughout the 2 hour session you'll hear directly from social workers and team leaders currently working at the council about their own experiences and career journeys and have the chance to ask any questions you may have in an informal setting.
The event will also provide an opportunity for you to develop your professional knowledge with a 45 minute CPD session on Contextual Safeguarding delivered by Sarah Bottomley, Team Manager – Contextual Safeguarding. Not only will this help you develop your own skills but will provide an insight into how teams at MKCC work and the approaches they take to delivering key support to vulnerable people.
If you're interested in attending please register today to reserve your place. We will then send you a link to join on the day of the event.
