Job description

Opus people solutions on behalf of Suffolk County Council have and exciting opportunity for a Turnaround Practitioner within our Youth Justice Service Team.

The turnaround practitioner will be responsible for Supporting children who are on the periphery of the criminal justice system through targeted intervention and support with them and their family.
This role will be hybrid with an expectation of spending time in the office as well as visits to meet with children and families. You will be required to go to all offices - Constantine House based in Ipswich, West Suffolk House based in Bury St Edmunds and The Marina based in Lowestoft.

The role will include:

  • Work closely and creatively with the local communities and partner agencies to establish and maintain an effective service for children aged and their families in line with the stated objectives of the Turnaround Programme.

  • Make sure you are working within the criminal Justice framework.

  • Supporting children and families in group work.
