We're recruiting on behalf of a leading business in the construction sector for a Technical Sales Manager to join their dynamic and successful team.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving sales growth across your region. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, providing expert technical advice, and managing projects from early design stages through to completion. This is a field-based role with regular travel across the London, Essex, and Hertfordshire areas, along with occasional visits to the company's head office in Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed regional targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering tailored technical support.
  • Manage projects from initial consultation to final installation, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Monitor sales performance and report on KPIs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • BSc degree OR equivalent experience within construction based industry
  • Proven success in a technical sales role, ideally within the construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
