Team Manager - MASH

We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Team Manager position to join our team here at Northamptonshire Children's Trust. Our service and your role

There is a service improvement plan to ensure that children get the right service at the right time through an integrated approach from early help and social care MASH. Signs of safety strengths-based approaches led by our principal social worker supports excellent social work practice and is further supported by our Signs of Safety Champions and business support.

This is a very fast paced and busy role which will require you to have commitment and drive to be successful in this position within a service that strives to deliver positive outcomes for our children and families in collaboration with our external partners.

We are seeking a Team Manager, with current Social Work England registration, and previous leadership experience in a similar role. You will provide leadership to your team, which will consist of Senior Social Workers and MASH Officers. You will be responsible for allocating and prioritising workloads effectively to ensure the care of the child is paramount, whilst also ensuring you develop your team to provide an effective and efficient service. The right candidate will have responsibility for the team plan to meet objectives and ensure performance targets are achieved.

The Person

The right candidate should be a qualified Social Worker, with current Social Work England registration, and ideally with a Level 5 NVQ Management qualification, or equivalent relevant experience. You will have the ability to manage a team and ensure development and performance issues are addressed though support and coaching. You will have previous budgetary control experience, ICT skills and the ability to represent the service at a more senior level if required.
