Here at Opus we have an exciting opportunity for a qualifed social worker to join Northamtonshire Children's trust. The Local Authority are looking for a supervising social worker to join their Fostering service on a Locum basis while they are recruiting to the role permanently, I have the following short job brief from the manager:

Job Brief

The Supervising Social Workers role is within Fostering Recruitment ,the successful candidate will need to be a very experienced social worker, with experience of supervision of foster Carers and therapeutic experience. This post holder would support foster carers who are known as Resilience Carers and who hold some of our most complex children.
Would expect Office attendance for Team Meetings and their own supervision or when necessary - the rest of the time would be visiting Carers and keeping records and compliance current .

The role will be hybrid with the authority expecting the role to be office based about 5-6 days a month but this can change depending on the service requirements.
