Opus people solutions on behalf of Cambridge County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join Childrens Mash Team

Job Title: Social Worker - Mash
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate: £35-£40
Location: Cambridge, Huntingdon
Remote/Office based:Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office

Key Responsibilities:

• To screen contacts, discuss with parents/families and liaise with partners to arrive at a recommendation.
• Working with partners and engaging with professionals and members of the public professionally and respectfully.
• Articulate reason for recommendation and have good understanding of the CA legislation and other legislation that affects children and families.
• Good understanding of threshold application and case trajectory in children's services.
• Able to work with other teams and services to ensure that the needs of children are promoted and supported.

Skills:

• Social Work England Registered
• Previous MASH experience
• Three years post qualifying experience
• Driving License
