We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Landscape Architect to support the Principle Landscape Architect in the delivery of projects in the Landscape design team at Concertus based in Ipswich!

Key Responsibilities but not limited to

  • Lead and manage all aspects of Landscape design for projects
  • Lead Liaison with clients and develop the relevant aspects of client briefs.
  • Proactively seek to improve the landscape studios design process
  • Prepare and present feasibility reports and high quality design proposals.
  • Work around constraining factors such as planning legislation, building regulations, environmental impact and project budget
  • Deliver projects within agreed budget, and provide high quality design, cost effective solutions with buildability and safety taken into account.
  • Hold an awareness of BIM, its strategic and operational importance to Concertus and how it is used by design and property teams
  • Design using BIM software, working from one collaborative model and ensuring the accuracy of information.
  • Hold an awareness of Biodiversity Net Gain, its impact and how it can be used to strengthen and enhance design proposals.



About You

  • Post-graduate degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent
  • Ideal candidate will have 5 years+ proven experience
  • Chartered member of Landscape Institute
  • Ability to use CAD (ArchiCAD experience preferred but not essential), you would be expected to undertake CAD work for projects they were assigned to
  • An understanding of the relationship between people, buildings and the wider environment
  • Good design and drawing skills
  • A keen interest in the environment
  • Be well organised - you plan and prioritise your work to ensure that deadlines are met. You have the ability to plan and multi-task and can work to strict deadlines
