Job Title: Registered Manager (St David's & Queens Cottage)

Working Hours: 25 hours per week

Work mode: Hybrid with 80% on-site

Pay rate: 21.98 per hour (PAYE)

Location: St David's & Queens Cottage

Assignment duration: 3 months (with potential extension)

Are you passionate about empowering individuals to live independently while ensuring their quality of life remains paramount? We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead as the Manager for St David's and Queen's Cottages, overseeing the provision of Extra Care, personal care, and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registered Manager: Act as the registered Manager for St David's House and Queen's Cottages, adhering to Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Care Quality Commission Regulations 2009.
  • Service Provision: Ensure that the Scheme meets all Extra Care requirements stipulated by the commissioned contract.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with professionals to assess, provide, and review support and care services, updating Care Plans and Risk Assessments accordingly.
  • Premises Management: Oversee premises and grounds maintenance, cleaning services, and equipment upkeep to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Occupancy and Dependency: Maintain appropriate occupancy levels and dependency balance among tenants, in collaboration with the Allocations Panel.
  • Policy Adherence: Manage service delivery in compliance with policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Manual Handling, and Financial Regulations.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge & Experience: Familiarity with CQC regulations, health and safety protocols, and significant experience in managing health/social care services.
  • Qualifications: Professional qualifications such as NVQ 5, management certification, and a full driving license.
  • Skills & Abilities: Leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage stress and handle sensitive information.
