Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team within Concertus. This role will be responsible for strategic management of projects and portfolios, based in Ipswich.

Some of your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Management of clients and projects from inception to completion.
- Co-ordinate the tender documentation and produce all relevant notices for the tender process.
- Review and comment on tender submissions.
- Provide advice on the economics of design at the early stages of a project.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, including effective stakeholder engagement to ensure solutions are robust and viable
- Manage planning applications including ensuring conditions are discharged.
- Manage the design team, participating in design team meetings, chairing progress meetings, producing agendas and minutes as required.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including the formation of project plans to track progress and contract administration.
- Produce and communicate project updates including the Contract Reports, monthly client updates, highlight reports, end of stage reports, cost status reports and the like
- Ensure that customer requirements are identified and agreed with the client. Collect all feedback information and monitor, particularly conjunction with the SLA and client requirements
- Carry out professional research projects.
- Assist in the investigation, reporting and recommending the implementation of new procedures and techniques. Take responsibility for the delivery of an initiative, commission or groups of commissions.
About you:
- Proven experience as a project manager in the Design, Surveying or Construction Industry.
- Ideally degree level qualified and professionally accredited or working towards professional qualification e.g. MRICS, CIOB, APM or similar.
- Understanding and hands-on experience in Client-Side Construction, Change or Property Management
- Strong communication and organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
- Experience of a variety of private and public sectors preferred.
- JCT and/or NEC contract awareness required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project
