Opus People Solutions are seeking are Payroll Specialist to join an award winning Suffolk top 100 local business.

You will:

• Operate a portfolio of customers monthly payrolls
• Work closely with the team to ensure the successful completion of all customers payrolls
• Effectively coach and support team members, sharing payroll knowledge and experience in the processing of monthly payrolls and pension schemes.
• Effectively manage the full end to end payroll process ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice methods are used.
• Investigate and resolve complex and technical pay related queries.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure costings are correct and BACs submissions are made on time to the agreed deadlines.
• Ensure HMRC and other third-party deadlines are adhered to and responsible for monthly and annual submissions.
• Ensure the pension schemes are processed and compliant with pension submission deadlines.
• Qualified payroll professional NVQ4 or equivalent experience
• Experience in managing multiple payrolls with different pay dates
