Job Description:
Bromsgrove District and Redditch Borough Council are seeking a Neighbourhood & Tenancy Advisor to manage a portfolio of garages and provide customer-focused tenancy services. You will ensure the effective management of garages, coordinate tenancy services, and support initiatives that empower residents to sustain tenancies and reduce homelessness.
This role involves responding promptly to customer inquiries, managing garage lettings, and providing a welcoming point of contact for customers and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage garage lettings, terminations, and concessionary TV licensing.
* Provide professional housing services in line with relevant legislation.
* Support the development of strategies and projects that promote independent living.
* Handle administrative tasks such as creating rotas, coordinating meetings, and managing communal keys.
* Investigate complaints and assist in legal and ombudsman inquiries when required.
Requirements:
* Experience in front-line customer service.
* Strong communication, case management, and IT skills.
