Job description


his is not your typical logistics role - come and join a growing organisation who value their staff, in a logistics administrator role. In this role we are looking for candidates who have a naturally analytical and methodical approach to their work.
The key purpose of the job is to proactively coordinate with regional teams based across Europe to ensure everything runs smoothly in the operation. The key aspects of the role are data handling, forward planning and communication.

  • Data Handling; Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Some understanding of Power Bi and Microsoft teams is preferable.
  • Candidates will need to be able to draw and manipulate large amounts of data from multiple sources to accurately adjust volumes and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Forward Planning; Traffic coordination is highly dynamic as circumstances change rapidly in the industry. The Traffic Coordinator must plan accurately and effectively for a wide range of possible outcomes and provide analysis and recommendations to Commercial teams.
  • The successful candidate will need skills to manage multiple plans, massaging volumes between vessels where possible and highlighting areas of under or over performance for necessary actions to be taken.
  • Communication; It is essential that a candidate has excellent communication skills. A Traffic Coordinator will need to absorb and disseminate information to and from multiple sources both internally and externally across a wide array of countries. Communication must be clear and precise at all times to ensure that directives can be understood and actioned.
