Head of Business Services
We are seeking a dynamic leader to take ownership of our Business Services function, ensuring it delivers efficient, compliant, and scalable support across payroll, finance, systems, and compliance.
In this role, you will:

• 
  Lead and evolve the Business Services function to support growth and profitability
• 
  Oversee payroll, invoicing, and rate card management, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• 
  Provide strategic direction for the Operational Finance team, delivering robust reporting and risk monitoring
• 
  Ensure compliance with legislation and frameworks, including IR35, AWR, REC guidelines, and umbrella governance
• 
  Drive process automation, system optimisation, and workflow improvements to reduce administrative burden
• 
  Partner with IT, Finance, and client-facing teams to deliver integrated, scalable systems and processes
• 
  Lead on reporting and data analysis, providing insights on profitability, efficiency, and client performance
• 
  Support client onboarding and implementation, ensuring seamless system configuration and rate management
• 
  Act as a point of escalation for complex pay, compliance, or client issues

What we're looking for:

• 
  Proven track record in business operations leadership (recruitment/MSP experience desirable)
• 
  Strong knowledge of payroll, invoicing, finance, and compliance frameworks
• 
  Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
• 
  Experience driving process improvement, system optimisation, and team development
