Brokerage Officer

37 hours per week, full time position.
Hybrid: 2/3 days working onsite in Civic Centre in Walsall Town Centre and working from home remaining days.
Hourly Rate: £13.02 per hour
Organisation: Opus People Solutions, recruiting on behalf of Walsall Council.

Opus People Solutions is currently partnering with Walsall Council to recruit a motivated and skilled individual for the position of Brokerage Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to join Walsall Council's Adult Social Care Brokerage Team on a temporary basis, contributing to the efficient delivery of essential services for vulnerable adults.

Duties include:

  • Provide crucial support to the council's commitment to vulnerable adults through efficient brokerage services.
  • Work collaboratively within the responsive Adult Social Care Brokerage Team.
  • Utilize your expertise in Admin, Health and/or Social Care, commissioning, contract, or brokerage environments to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in IT skills, including the ability to work with multiple information systems and confidently manipulate data.
  • Adhere to the remote work setup while occasionally meeting on-site requirements.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Admin, Health and/or Social Care, commissioning, contract, or brokerage roles.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to confidently work with various information systems.
  • Proven ability to manipulate data with precision and accuracy.
  • Knowledge and understanding on Adult Social Care is preferred.
