Opus People Solutions are seeking an Adaptations Technical Officer for a local authority in Northamptonshire on a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will support residents through the delivery of disabled adaptations and the distribution of Disabled Facilities Grants, a chance to make a real difference!
Whilst visiting residents in their own homes and advising on adaptations, you will also prepare schedules of work, specifications and drawings, as appropriate, taking into account the recommendations of the Occupational Therapist, as well as the client's own needs and wishes.
In this dynamic role, you will have external consultations with architects, engineers, solicitors, banks, building societies, the Occupational Therapy Service, social workers and voluntary organisations where necessary to make timely progress with cases.
You will have experience with CAD and construction/architecture.
