About the Role:
Based in Sir Edmund Hillary Primary - S81 0AN, you will be working Monday to Friday, 11:30am - 13:30pm, 10 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality catering services that meet our standards and delight our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the preparation and serving of food
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area
* Washing up and clearing tables
* Following food hygiene and safety procedures
* Providing excellent customer service to pupils and staff
Who are we looking for?
* Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently and efficiently
* Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
* Great communication skills and experience in a similar setting
* A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
* The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
* The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
