Opus People Solutions are excited to recruit on behalf of Vertas Group for Temporary Assistant Manager at High Lodge Café-Thetford to provide short-term cover for a 6-week period. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced catering environment, ideal for someone confident leading front-of-house operations and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising front-of-house operations and ensuring excellent customer service
- Handling and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
- Ensuring accurate allergen information is provided to customers
- Supporting daily operations including opening and closing tills
- Assisting with team coordination and maintaining smooth service during busy periods
About You:
- Previous experience at supervisory or assistant manager level within catering or hospitality
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-speed environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confident dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Knowledge of food safety and allergen awareness is essential
