Opus People Solutions are excited to recruit on behalf of Vertas Group for Temporary Assistant Manager at High Lodge Café-Thetford to provide short-term cover for a 6-week period. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced catering environment, ideal for someone confident leading front-of-house operations and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising front-of-house operations and ensuring excellent customer service
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Ensuring accurate allergen information is provided to customers
  • Supporting daily operations including opening and closing tills
  • Assisting with team coordination and maintaining smooth service during busy periods

About You:

  • Previous experience at supervisory or assistant manager level within catering or hospitality
  • Comfortable working in a busy, high-speed environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Confident dealing with customer queries and complaints
  • Knowledge of food safety and allergen awareness is essential
