About the Role:
Based across Nottinghamshire, you will be working 7:30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year. As a Mobile School Chef, you will support multiple catering sites, preparing nutritious meals and ensuring the delivery of high quality food and service standards across the catering operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals in line with menu specifications.
- Supporting the day to day operation of kitchens across multiple sites.
- Working closely with catering colleagues to maintain service standards.
- Monitoring food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
- Assisting with stock control, ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Maintaining accurate records in line with company procedures.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
- Providing support and cover where required across the catering operation.
