About the Role:
Based at Eastlands Junior, NG20 9PA, you will be working Monday to Friday, 11:30 to 13:30, 10 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high quality catering service and ensuring an excellent dining experience for pupils and staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving food and beverages to customers
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation
- Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- Washing up and operating kitchen equipment safely
- Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
Who are we looking for?
- Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Great communication skills and experience in a customer focused environment
- A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
- The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
- The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
