Legal, Governance & ComplianceOpus People Solutions are hiring for a Commissioning Officer within a Local Authority client based in Northamptonshire.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, offering remote working (two days on-site, three remote), and £22.64 per day umbrella (£16.59 PAYE), with a contract length of 6 months. Please see a high-level overview of what the position involves below:
- Collection, monitoring and analysis of data related to performance
- Production of reports interpreting data
- Managing relationships with providers of adult social care
- Supporting financial, legal and procurement tasks
- Engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Benchmarking and research
- Written reports, business cases and proposals as per the specification of the commissioning manager
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to negotiate and influence, with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels including with partner organisations, councillors and people that use services
- Good level of knowledge of key legislation, national policy and developments in relation to adult social care and health
- Experience of project management including coordination, planning, information collation, analysing data to produce reports, strategies and business cases
- Previous experience within Local Government
